What is the best device for protection?

Answer

Not all devices set up protection in exactly the same way.

For the fastest and most straightforward setup, we recommend Samsung for mobile devices and Windows for computers. On these platforms, GamBlock® protection can be installed and secured in a single, simple process. We work closely with Samsung and Microsoft, who support what we do and help us on the back-end quickly.

What about other platforms?

GamBlock® fully supports Apple and other Android devices too. It just involves more steps to set up. Because Apple's system is more closed, and other Android manufacturers vary in what they allow, our setup process for these devices takes a little longer to configure. Once it's installed on an iPhone, for example, it works just as reliably.

I need to protect my child straight away.

If you'd like the quickest possible setup, Windows and Samsung get you there straight away. You don't need a flagship model; even an affordable Samsung phone will set up quickly and securely.

If you already have an iPhone or another Android device, that's absolutely fine. Apple devices have a thirty-day period during which a sponsor is required. Samsung has full functionality immediately.
